Glendal M Beckley Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Glendal Beckley, 99, known to all as "Beck", passed away on December 22, 2021 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Jeanne and Ray Hess at Lake of the Ozarks in Camdenton, Mo. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Frances (2019) father, mother, six brothers and one sister. He is survived by children, Jeanne (Ray) Hess of Camdenton, Mo and Dennis (Vickie) Beckley of St. Charles, Mo; his grandchildren, Shelly (Bob) Bangert, Mitch (Theresa) Hess; step-grandchildren, Matthew Brock and Jake (Nicole) Brock; great grandchildren, Dylan (Courtney) Guffey, Payton Guffey, Reagan Hess; step-great grandchildren Jack (Jessi) Bangert, Kaylee Brock and Jacob Mock; and great-great granddaughters Mae Guffey and Charlotte Bangert. Beck was a decorated WW II Army Veteran, having received the Bronze Star and two (2) Purple Hearts. He was also honored to have served as Grand Marshall of the annual Rector Labor Day Parade in 2008. He was very proud of his yearly vegetable garden that he enjoyed sharing with family and neighbors. Visitation will begin at 12:00 pm on December 28, 2021 at the First General Baptist Church in Rector. Service will begin at 2:00 pm with Bro. Mark Book and Bro. Kenny Price officiating.
