Gloria Dean Rogers Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Gloria Dean Rogers, 88 of St. Louis, formerly of Rector passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday March 10, 2015. She was born on February 25, 1927 in McGhee, Arkansas to the late Franklin and Gladys (Williams) Dickinson. She was of the General Baptist faith and attended churches in Missouri, Arkansas, Michigan, and Illinois with her late husband, Reverend Franklin O. Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her loving husband: Franklin O. Rogers. Gloria is survived by her son: Terry Rogers and Dinah (Yeakey) Rogers of St. Charles, Missouri; two daughters: Marsha Rogers of St. Louis, Missouri, Elaine Rogers of Belleville, Illinois; two grandchildren: Andrew Rogers of Creve Coeur, Missouri, Timothy Rogers of St. Peters, Missouri; one great- grandson: Harrison Noah Rogers; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector with Bro. Denver Eaker officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Andrew Rogers, Timothy Rogers, Bruce Sheffield, Dan Sheffield, Donald Rogers Jr, and Randy Rogers.
