Philip Dale Brewer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Philip Dale Brewer, 72, of Cumming, Georgia died Sunday, August 22, at Northside Forsyth Hospital in Cumming. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Orpha and brother Eddie Brewer. Survivors are his wife, best friend, and constant companion Connie of Cumming; his son, Philip Keith Brewer (Ronda) and two grandsons, A.J. and Jason Brewer of Pendergrass, Georgia. His twin sister, Pamela Gail (Brewer) McDonald of Jonesboro share the birth date, January 27, 1949. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends from Arkansas,Missouri,Tennessee and Georgia. Dale (Phil) worked for the USPS for 35 years as an Engineer Architect. Then his passion for muscle rods blossomed into a thriving business for the past 21 years as an Automotive Aftermarket Co. BRP Hot Rods. Dale (Phil) had vision and his wife Connie and (Little Phil) “Junior”share in his competitive and creative spirit. Services will be Saturday, August 28, at Irby-Mitchell Funeral Home in Rector. Family is welcomed at 11:00 a.m. and service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Woodland Heights Cemetery. Pallbearers are A.J. Brewer, Jason Brewer, Ryan Brewer, Russ Brewer, Luke Brewer, and Jacob Moll. Honorary pallbearers are Larry Rhynes, Gary Ward, Lynal Mills, and Danny Simpson.
