Sarah Faye Williams Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sarah Faye Elmore Williams, 80 of Rector passed from this life on Sunday May 31, 2015 at the Piggott Community Hospital. She was born on January 5, 1935 in Acorn, Missouri to the late Leo and Ola Mae Adams Elmore but was raised by her aunt and uncle, John and Mae Hughes after the sudden death of her mother. She worked at Piggott Community Hospital as an RN for 30 years and in her spare time enjoyed crafts, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband German Wayne “Pete” Williams. Sarah is survived by her two sons: Dennis and Kimberly Williams of Rector, Doug and Brenda Williams of Rector; one brother: Gerald Hughes of Martin, Tennessee; one sister: Mary Stricker of Rockford, Illinois; two grandchildren: Chad Williams of Rector, Steven and Amy Williams of Paragould; two great grandchildren: Justin and Colton Williams; along with a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 3, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel in Rector. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday June 4, 2015 at the Irby Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Kenny Burns officiating. Burial will follow the service at Woodland Heights Cemetery.
